Paper Submission Guidelines


Use the following step-by-step instruction to guide you through the paper submission process.

For paper from industry, 1-page abstract is acceptable.

1. Register as EDAS member

To submit paper(s), you are required to have EDAS (Editor’s Assistant Service) account. You can get one free of charges here.

2. Register the Full Paper

Login to your EDAS account.

Click the Submit Paper tab and you’ll be given a list of conferences. Find ICIAS2020 on the list then select the Submit icon right next to it. Or you can directly go to this weblink to register your paper.

Fill in the Title and Abstract fields, then select a suitable Review Topic Group. Submit this information and you will be receiving an email notification on your paper number and how to upload the extended abstract.

3. Upload the Full Paper (Mandatory Requirement: Main author and all co-authors, if any, are to be added in EDAS). For industry paper, 1-page abstract is acceptable.

Follow the instructions sent via email to upload your full paper in PDF format via a web or ftp link. You should receive an email notification upon successful upload.

4. Paper Requirements

The Full Paper should be four to six pages long, including title, author’s names (main author and all co-authors, if any), affiliations and e-mail addresses. The abstract should consist of a brief introduction, rationale, approach/methodology, results/expected findings of the work undertaken and a list of key references. Full Paper must be submitted electronically in PDF format. For industry paper, 1 page abstract is acceptable.

Paper Template Each paper must be prepared in A4 size according to IEEE format. Download paper template as

conference-template-a4or conference-latex-template.

Number of Pages Minimum of four pages and a maximum of six pages.

One page abstract is acceptable for paper from industry.

5. Instructions for Authors: Camera-Ready Paper

Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.

Creating your PDF eXpress Account:

Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress TM site:

First-time users should do the following:

1. Select the New Users – Click Here.

2. Enter the following:

  • 49414X for the Conference ID
  • Your email address
  • A password

3. Continue to enter information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
