The world we live today is progressively dependent on the power of the artificial intelligence and internet of things for its day to day activities. The integration of these technologies are much needed and embedded into existing energy systems and medical technologies leads to sustainable growth. The innovations of sustainable hybrid energy systems and advanced healthcare technology are empowered with the computational intelligence to resolve various real world challenges. However which seems to vary based on demography. The economic growth of a country heavily depends on the effective utilization and management of its resources. In an economically linked globalized world, effective access to electricity and healthcare are very important factors. The theme ‘Sustainable Innovations in Green Energy Systems and Healthcare Technology’ addresses challenging issues like efficient utilization of alternate energy resources, hybrid energy systems and management, intelligent diagnosis and treatment, remote medical management and efficient waste management systems for the establishment of healthy society across the globe. This session will also create awareness about exploitation of green energy and its global needs, future prediction, innovation in Healthcare technologies, finally it gives significance of the scientific research and innovation in Green Energy and Healthcare Technology, and related all the fields.
The objective of this special session “Sustainable Innovations in Green Energy and Healthcare Technology” aspires to conglomerate academicians, scientists, researchers, experts from various organizations and students for sharing of scientific knowledge, disseminate information on innovative research works related to this theme. Also, this scientific society will stimulate other researchers to continue the efforts to improve the current state of the art on the aforementioned field.

Dr. K .PORKUMARAN
Dr. K .PORKUMARAN is Professor and Principal, Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, India. He has an outstanding academic record and received Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India, Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering specialized in Control Systems from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. For his PhD thesis, he worked on “New Algebraic Criterion for Analysis and Design of Linear Systems” and developed a frame work and control strategies for Control Systems Engineering (Advisor: Professor Emeritus Dr. S N Sivanandam). He has 23 years of experience in Teaching, 18 years of experience in Research and Development and 14 years experience in Academic Administration. He is actively engaged with Professional Societies as Fellow, Institution of Engineers (IE), Senior Member IEEE, Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Biomedical Engineering Society of India (BMESI) and Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Convened and organized many Workshops, Conferences and Symposia and chaired several technical sessions and the moderator for many scientific sessions in international conferences. Mentor and branch counselor for professional chapters like IEEE, ISOI, ISTE, BMESI. Published more than 145 research papers and 10 book chapters, extensively in international Journals and forums with good number of citations, Filed and published 07 patents and has handled a number of industry/government funded projects and schemes. Served as editor and reviewer for many International Conferences and Journals of high repute. My research areas of interest include Image and Video processing, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Modeling and Simulation, Neural Networks, Fuzzy systems Bio Signal Processing and Machine Learning. Visited foreign universities at Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and USA. To his credit, 13 Ph.D scholars completed their doctoral degree under his supervision and three in progress. Also, he has received a grant in aid of more than Sixty Five Lakhs from various Government funding agencies and leading corporate like AICTE, DST, CSIR, ISRO, DRDO, ICMR, ISTE, National Instruments, IEEE, etc., He rendered his service as member of academic, governing council, Board of Studies for various reputed Institutions and Universities.
Dr. S PRABAKAR
Dr.S.PRABAKAR is Professor and Head, Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Director Research, Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, India in 1999. He has a good academic record with Master of Engineering and PhD Degree (Advisor Professor K Porkumaran) in the faculty of Information and Communication Engineering from College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai and Anna University, Chennai specialized in Medical Electronics and Medical Image Processing during 2006 and 2014 respectively. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Biomedical Engineering Society of India. He is also a Senior Member of (UACEE) the IRED – Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors, International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), Singapore. He has 3 years of experience in Medical Electronics Industries, 16 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Development and 8 years experience in Academic Administration. His research interests include Medical Instrumentation, Graphical System Design, Medical Image/Video Processing, Bio Signal Processing, Bio-Modeling, Cognitive Development for Disabled Children, Evolutionary Computing and Bio Virtual Instrumentation. He established various centers like DrNGP Centre for Medical Equipment and Systems, Medical Equipment Calibration Center, Centre for Product Development and PMKVY Skill Development Center on Medical Equipment Technology. He has published around 59 technical papers in reputed National and International Journals and Conferences and Book Chapters. Also, he has filed 5 patents. He served as chair, editor and reviewer for many National and International Conferences and Journals with high repute and also handled a number of industry/government funded projects and schemes.
Dr RAMANI KANNAN
|Dr. Ramani Kannan is a Senior Lecturer in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He received his B.E degree from Bharathiyar University, India. Later on completed his M.E and PhD in Power Electronics and Drives from Anna University respectively. He holds more than 115 publications in reputed international and national journals and conferences. He is an active senior member in IEEE(USA), and members of IE(I), IET(UK), ISTE(I) and Institute of advance engineering and science. Dr. Ramani is recognized with many awards, including “Career Award for Young Teacher” from AICTE India, 2012; “ Young Scientist Award” in power electronics and Drives, 2015; “Highest Research publication Award” 2017. Award for Outstanding Performance, Service and Dedication 2019 at UTP, Malaysia and “Outstanding Researcher Award” in UTP Q Day 2019, Best Presenter Award, IEEE CENCON 2019 international conference at Indonesia.EDITOR–Books “Sustaining Electrical Power Resources through Energy Optimization and Future Engineering” Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2018., and Practical Examples of energy optimization models Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2019.He has completed 5 funded projects and 7 research projects in progress with a total funding of RM 1080000.00. The grants are FRGS, ASEAN-India, YUTP, KETTHA and STIRF. He is the Editor-in-Chief for the journal of Asian Scientific Research (2011-2018) and Regional Editor for International Journal of Computer Aided Engineering and technology, Inderscience Publisher, UK from 2015.He is an Associate Editor in IEEE Access since 2018. Dr Ramani is servicing many guest editor such as Elsevier journal, Inderscience, IGI Global and IJPAM etc. His research interest involves in power electronics, inverters, modeling of induction motor and optimization techniques.|
