Special event on Corrosion

Corrosion remains a significant cost and problem to government and industry, and is also a obstacle that needs to be crossed in an era of rapid technological advances. Materials are now being used in various applications and environments.
This 1st corrosion special session & 1st annual meeting of Corrosion Researchers without Borders (CRWB) will be held in conjunction with the “ICPER 2018″. Those interested in attending both events must submit a research paper to ICPER 2018 and highlight that they are going to attend to corrosion special session.
This corrosion special session includes timely presentations from leading international researchers covering the state-of-the-art. Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to submit original, unpublished contributions in subject areas include, but are not limited to the following fields:

Oil & Gas
• Cathodic protection of pipelines
• Refinery issues
• Marine structures
• Material Selection
• Sweet Corrosion
• Sour Corrosion

Steel Corrosion
• Coating of steel structures
• Cathodic protection of steel structures
• Microbiologically influenced corrosion of steel
• Steel in a marine environment

• Concrete deterioration
• Reinforcement corrosion
• Concrete coatings & repair
• Cathodic protection of reinforcement

Water Infrastructure
• Pipe corrosion and condition assessment
• Water treatment plant & waste water treatment plant corrosion
