About the Conference
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) is proud to organize the International Conference on Future Trends in Smart Communities 2022 (ICFTSC 2022) from 1 – 2 December 2022. This conference is going to be one of the seven (7) simultaneous-held conferences of The World Engineering, Science and Technology Congress 2022 –
ESTCON2022.
ICFTSC 2022 is the continuation of ICIAS2020, which was successfully held previously. Our upcoming ICFTSC 2022 conference will be held at Borneo Conventional Centre Kuching Sarawak. Each participant will have access to all seven (7) concurrent conferences under
ESTCON2022, including the plenary and parallel sessions, plus exhibition with only a single registration fee.

- 5G and Beyond
- Future Power Grid
Full Paper Submission & Publications
- Accepted papers, which are presented at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore. The previous proceedings are indexed by ISI and SCOPUS and can be found
here
- Authors from industry are also invited to submit one (1) page abstract to be considered for a presentation during the ICFTSC 2022. The abstract will not be included in the conference proceeding
