Alliance of Malaysian Government Linked Universities (GLU)

The Alliance of Malaysian Government-Linked Universities (GLU), consisting of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Multimedia University (MMU), Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), and Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), was formally established on 22 February 2022. These four institutions, created by government-linked companies, offer quality higher education with industry-driven specialization programs, making them top choices for students pursuing tertiary studies. GLU aims to synergize their strengths for nation-building, quality, sustainability, and brand image, and pursues collaboration in teaching and learning, research and innovation, as well as student development. This collaboration supports the national education aspirations outlined in the Malaysian Education Blueprint for Higher Education.
