The World Engineering, Science and Technology Congress (ESTCON 2022) is a biennial Congress organised by Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). The Congress is an excellent centre stage for knowledge sharing, intellectual discussions and also networking on various areas of interest; for all academics, researchers, scientists, engineers, interest groups and industry experts from all around the world. Now in its seventh edition, the Congress is renewed and enhanced to delve deeper into Future Energy and Smart Communities.
The Congress covers a wide range of fields in innovation, engineering and technology as well as in humanities addressing the latest trends and challenges facing the world. In line with the renewal and enhancement of ESTCON, eight conferences will be simultaneously-held focussing on different issues pertaining to their respective theme and tracks. As new energy system emerges, these fields will provide the impetus to pursue more climate-friendly solutions and opportunities in the broader energy space that will create sustainable new values for the world. ESTCON will give deep insights and strengthen the momentum of climate actions to ensure that we remain resilient for the future.
Aside from the eight (8) main conferences which will be held on 1-2 December 2022, ESTCON2022 will also conduct Pre–Conference Workshops on 30 November 2022 as an essential part of the congress. These workshops are small focused meetings which will take place a day before the main Congress day and its objective are to provoke intellectual discussion, among a diverse range of participants, on a specific topic.
As the world biggest congress, ESTCON2022 has numerous renowned institutions as our co-organisers and supporters. The Congress is co-organised with Universiti Malaysia Sawarak (UNIMAS), Multimedia University (MMU), FPT University Vietnam and Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB). Furthermore, ESTCON2022 is also supported by the Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Learning (MOHE), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia (MOSTI), Academy of Sciences Malaysia, the Sarawak State Government through its Business Events Sarawak, Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDC) and the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
